Prostata-Tumorzellen

  • Adenokarzinom

  • DU-145 growing

    Nummer: 330168

    Bestand: Sofort lieferbar
Human Prostate Carcinoma cell line DU-145

    Organism: Homo sapiens (human)
    Ethnicity: Caucasian
    Age: 69 years old
    Gender: Male
    Tissue: Prostate
Tumor: Carcinoma; from metastatic site: brain
    Morphology: Epithelial
    Growth Properties: Monolayer, adherent
Description: DU 145 was isolated by K.R. Stone et al from a lesion in the brain of a patient with metastatic carcinoma of the prostate and a 3 year history of lymphocytic leukemia. The line is not detectably hormone sensitive, is only weakly positive for acid phosphatase and isolated cells form colonies in soft agar. Ultrastructural analyses of both the cell line and original tumor revealed microvilli, tonofilaments and desmosomes, many mitochondria, well developed Golgi and heterogenous lysosomes. The cells do not express prostate antigen.

  • LNCaP growing

Human Prostate Adenocarcinoma cell line LNCaP

    Organism: Homo sapiens (human)
    Ethnicity: Caucasian
    Age/Stage: 50 years of age
    Gender: Male
Tissue: Prostate (from metastatic site: left supraclavicular lymph node)
    Morphology: Epithelial
    Celltype: Carcinoma
    Growth Properties: Clusters; lightly adherent
Description: This cell line was established from a metastatic lesion of human prostatic adenocarcinoma.

  • PC-3 growing

    Nummer: 330312

    Bestand: Sofort lieferbar
Human Prostate Adenocarcinoma cell line PC-3

    Organism: Homo sapiens (human)

    Gender: Male
Tissue: Prostate; from metastatic site: bone
    Morphology: Epithelial
    Cell type: Adenocarcinoma, grade IV
Growth Properties: Monolayer; the cells form clusters in soft agar and can be adapted to suspension growth
Description: The cells exhibit low acid phosphatase and testosterone-5- alpha reductase activities.
