Kolon-Tumorzellen



Nahezu alle Fälle von Darmkrebs gehen auf gutartige Tumoren zurück, die sich auf der Innenwand des Dickdarms gebildet haben, was bedeutet, dass es sich um Adenokarzinome handelt. Die Leber zeigt häufig eine Metastasierung, da Blut aus dem Darm und dem Rektum dorthin transportiert wird, während Lymphknoten häufig ebenfalls metastasiert sind.
Darmkrebs ist die dritthäufigste Krebsart weltweit, mit über neun Millionen an dieser Krankheit leidenden Menschen im Jahr 2017, und stellt die zweithäufigste Todesursache bei Krebs in westlichen Ländern dar.
CLS verfügt über eine Sammlung von mehr als 70 Krebszelllinien, die insgesamt aus Dickdarmgewebe isoliert wurden. Viele unserer Darmkrebszelllinien wurden in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der PD Dr. rer.nat M. Linnebacher von der Universität Rostock etabliert.


Wir bieten Kolon-Tumorzellen der folgenden Typen an:

  • PDX (Patient-Derived Xenografts) von Kolon Adenokarzinomen
